These hounds do not shed at all and they need regular trimming. "Pet Cut" representatives will have a shorter coat and should go to the groomer for cuts every 6 to 8 weeks. "Show Cut" hounds, in full show coat (the coat is kept longer) should go to the groomer at least monthly or sooner.
